The 2012 Lidtke Scholarship, Essay Competition
Lidtke Technologies, a manufacturer of fine-quality nutritional supplements, is pleased to announce the 2012 Lidtke Scholarship, to be awarded January 31, 2012. This Scholarship is available nationwide to High School students.
Complete and submit your essay, along with an application, on or before December 31, 2011. All materials should be submitted online at http://www.lidtke.com/essay-application/. Essay topic choices are provided on the application webpage.
Criteria on which essays are judged:
Practical applicability and uniqueness of ideas. Clarity of presentation.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in their senior year of High School.
The winner will be notified by telephone and by mail. Funds will be deposited with the college or university of their choice for use during the following school year. Payments will only be issued to accredited colleges or universities.
Scholarship Rules and Requirements
Lidtke Technologies shall be the sole judge of all entries, and decisions shall be final. Essays must be written in English, with a 1,500 word maximum.
Essays may not be in the form of a poem. All work submitted must be original, authored solely and completely by the applicant. Entries will be judged anonymously and will not be returned.
All entries must be received by Lidtke Technologies no later than December 31, 2011. Entries received after December 31, 2011 will not be accepted or reviewed, under any circumstances.
Scholarship results will be posted at www.lidtke.com. All submissions become the sole property of Lidtke Technologies and may be republished in whole or in part. Lidtke reserves the right not to award a prize when submissions do not meet contest quality standards or other criteria.
This Scholarship will be paid to the student’s college or university after Lidtke Technologies receives official notification of the student’s eligibility for enrollment. Failure to meet requirements will result in loss of the award. Unused scholarship funds will be held for future scholarship programs.
